World on Wednesday

Dear Nazarbayev University Community,

The International Students and Scholars Services of the Department of Internationalization is excited to announce a new series of monthly events called World on Wednesdays (WOW), aimed at fostering intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding within our community by celebrating the diversity of cultures on our campus. 

WOW is to showcase each country our students come from so that our community could get a taste of our students' home countries' culture, traditions, music, dances, clothing, food and more.

WOW is an opportunity to learn about and appreciate the diverse backgrounds of our international students. It promises to be an event filled with interesting presentations, delicious food, lively performances, and meaningful connections. 

We invite you all to join us in celebrating the rich tapestry of cultures that make our NU community so special. 

This month we are featuring Afghanistan, a country of vibrant heritage, rich culture and diverse traditions.
