About the event
We are excited to welcome Prof. Amr El Abbadi for a guest lecture at Nazarbayev University!
We are pleased to announce an upcoming guest lecture by Amr El Abbadi, Professor of Computer Science at UC Santa Barbara and a globally recognized expert in distributed systems and data management.
In this lecture, Prof. El Abbadi will discuss how modern internet-scale applications generate massive streams of data - and how we can efficiently extract meaningful insights from them.
Prof. El Abbadi is an ACM, IEEE, and AAAS Fellow, with over 350 publications and extensive leadership in the fields of databases and distributed systems. His work bridges the gap between the mathematics of big data and the engineering of scalable data systems.
This lecture will be valuable for researchers, engineers, and students interested in big data, cloud systems, and modern data-driven applications.
We look forward to seeing you there!
