About the event

Dear NU Community,


The Health and Well-being Department is excited to invite you to Stress Relief Week — a special event taking place from April 14 to 18 at NU!" This is a unique opportunity to learn effective methods for managing stress, receive support and improve your overall well-being. Each event is designed to help you handle the demands of academic life and personal challenges with ease.



 Why is this important?


The rhythm of modern life often brings stress and tension. Constant deadlines, exam preparation, and project work can affect your well-being and academic performance. Stress Relief Week offers a chance to pause, relax, and learn techniques that help reduce anxiety and support emotional health.

Training on “Stress Management”

The training is aimed at developing stress management skills, improving emotional state and increasing resilience to academic and life difficulties. Participants will master self-regulation techniques, learn to recognize sources of stress and cope with them effectively.

Movie Discussion: Living in the Moment – Lessons from "Soul"

A film about the meaning of life, inspiration and inner calling.

After the film, if desired, there will be a short friendly discussion about how to find joy in everyday life and be in harmony with yourself.

A great way to express your emotions and reduce stress. This is a great opportunity to relieve tension, develop your imagination and understand yourself better.

"Stress Reduction: Meditation and Effective Exercises"

Meditation and exercise are effective ways to cope with everyday stress. We will introduce you to mindfulness and relaxation techniques, as well as simple exercises that will help relieve tension and restore inner balance.

Art Session “Creativity as a Way to Relieve Stress”

The art session is aimed at reducing stress levels and developing creative self-expression, helps to cope with emotional tension, find inner harmony and restore resource state.
