Security and anti-terrorism training

Dear NU Community,

Based on Chapter 3   of the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 305 dated May 6, 2021, “On the Approval of the Requirements for the Organization of Anti-Terrorism Protection of Facilities Vulnerable to Terrorism”, the Occupational Safety and Health Department  will conduct the security and anti-terrorism training (hereinafter referred to as the Training).

The Training is mandatory for all employees, faculty members and students. To participate, please follow the link to the registration form and select a convenient date according to the established schedule.

The Training will cover the following critical topics related to security and anti-terrorism protection:

• Actions upon discovering suspicious objects;

• Evacuation procedures and interaction protocol with law enforcement agencies;

• Behavioral algorithm in response to terrorist threats;

• Threats within the campus;

• Cyber threats and fraud;

• Security in dormitories and classrooms;

• Actions to take in case of a threatening phone call;

• Response tactics in the event of an armed attack.
