About the event

The Student Council of the Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Public Policy (NU GSPP) invites the NU community to an engaging guest lecture featuring Asqar Sabdin, Islamic scholar and Director of the Center for Islamic and Kazakh Law at Maqsut Narikbayev University.

The lecture will delve into the complex intersections of religion, politics, and influence, examining how religious narratives can shape political agendas and public opinion. The event aims to foster critical discussion and open dialogue among students and faculty about the role of faith and ideology in contemporary governance and society.

All NU students and faculty members are welcome to attend.
