About the event
Join us for an informal discussion where NU professors will share their experiences of publishing in open access journals and making use of transformative agreements with publishers like Wiley, Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press, and the Association of Computing Machinery, and also reflecting on the bigger question: Who owns our knowledge?
This is a great opportunity to learn about APCs and transformative agreements from colleagues, faculty, and peers, while asking questions and exchanging ideas in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Speakers:
Annie Ng, PhD, Associate Professor, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, School of Engineering and Digital Sciences
Askhat Jumabekov, PhD, Associate Professor, Department of Physics, School of Sciences and Humanities
Raushan Alibekova, MD, MPH, PhD, Assistant Professor, Department of Biomedical Sciences, School of Medicine
Coffee and refreshments will be served.
