From August 11-15, 2025, Nazarbayev University will host the annual student environmental festival Khan Qoryq, organized by the Office of Sustainable Development in partnership with the National Conservation Initiative and supported by UNDP and QazaqGeography. The 2025 theme is “The role of Kazakhstan youth in promoting sustainable development and preserving the country’s nature and ecosystems.” The festival will bring together students from top universities across Kazakhstan, with the main program held in Bayanaul National Park.
