About the event
Nazarbayev University will host the international astrophysics conference “The Universe at All Scales” from May 11–15, 2026. The event will bring together leading experts from around the world to exchange ideas and present their latest research on the nature of the universe, its composition, and its evolution.
The days from Monday to Wednesday will be devoted to the most highly energetic phenomena, such as the big bang and the formation and evolution of black holes. The days from Wednesday to Friday will be devoted to large-scale phenomena such as how the distribution of matter and energy in the universe determine the evolution of the interstellar gas clouds and the dynamic processes that regulate star formation.
We look forward to fruitful discussions in a collaborative and engaging environment in the hope that the conference will foster scientific exchanges and collaborative projects, stimulating connections between researchers in Central Asia and around the world.
