About the event
The Department of Political Science and International Relations (PSIR) invites the NU community to a talk by Vladimir Kozlov, Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Public Policy (GSPP NU).
The presentation explores the social, economic, and political integration of Russian citizens in Germany who received humanitarian visas under Paragraph 22.2 due to political persecution. Based on a two-wave longitudinal study of 532 respondents, the research examines labor market participation, social and civic integration, and trust in host-society institutions over time. Preliminary findings show increasing labor market engagement alongside persistent institutional barriers and varied levels of trust and civic involvement.
Vladimir Kozlov holds a PhD in Economics (2011) and previously worked at the Leibniz Institute for East and Southeast European Studies (IOS) in Germany.
All members of the NU community, particularly PSIR students, are encouraged to attend.
