Horizon Europe Critical Raw Materials Workshop Kazakhstan

You are invited to participate in the Horizon Europe Critical Raw Materials (CRM) Workshop, focused on EU-Kazakhstan cooperation and funding opportunities under the Horizon Europe (HE) programme.

Organisers: Science Fund of the Science Committee of the MSHE RK & Global Service Facility (GSF) of the European Commission

This Workshop addresses cooperation and funding opportunities with the EU in the field of Critical Raw Materials (CRM). It provides a strategic background to the cooperation on CRM and presents funding opportunities in the HE programme, the EU’s funding programme for Research and Innovation (R&I). The Workshop includes practical training on calls in the new HE Work Programmes 2026-27 with a focus on Cluster 4. The Workshop is targeted at maximum 30 researchers and innovators from Kazakhstan working on CRM, as well as from EU member states and countries associated to HE, representing all different types of organisations such as universities, research institutions, business, public and private sector.

Note - researchers and innovators from Central Asian States can participate in projects under Horizon Europe and receive funding.
