AQ JORǴA Exhibition & Sale
AQ JORǴA Exhibition & Sale

March 19 - April19

This is an exhibition where the steppe begins within you. A solo exhibition and sale by artist Vladimir Bystritsky. The title AQ JORǴA refers to one of the most beautiful and poetic images in steppe culture. Jorğa is a special type of horse known for its smooth, flowing gait. In Kazakh tradition, the jorğa is associated with mastery, rarity, and a unique state of harmony between rider, animal, and the vast steppe landscape. The word aq (“white,” “light”) adds a sense of purity and nobility to this image.
