We are delighted to invite you to the Guest Lecture by the Ambassador of Canada to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, H.E. Christopher Duggan.


Christopher Duggan (BA Hons in International Development Studies and Earth Sciences, Dalhousie University, 1999; MA in Public Policy and Administration – International Stream, Carleton University, 2002) joined the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade in 2002. He has held several senior positions, including Director of the Middle East, Africa and Climate Change Division at the Privy Council Office and Director in the Security and Defense Relations Division at Global Affairs Canada.


Overseas, he has served in Romania, Jamaica, and Nigeria, and was Deputy Director of the NATO Liaison Office in Ukraine from 2019 to 2021. Most recently, he served as Director General at the Department of National Defense.
