Business talk and coffee event “Doing Business with Chinese Partners: Uncovering Hidden Challenges and their Causes”

The Graduate School of Business invites the NU community to an online research seminar by Dr. Jiyang Dong, Assistant Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship.

In his talk, Dr. Dong will explore how Sino–Kazakhstani business collaboration can be undermined by three often-overlooked challenges - distinct business ecosystems, complex coordination within Chinese state-owned enterprises, and deep-rooted cultural differences. Drawing from both business practice and academic research, he will discuss the strategic and practical implications of these challenges.
