About the event
The School of Sciences and Humanities, in collaboration with the NU Library, invites you to the presentation of After January: Kazakhstan's Journey Through Identity and Geopolitics by Dr. Nygmet Ibadildin, Dr. Dinara Pisareva, and Nurmakhan Tastaibek.
The book explores how Kazakhstan has navigated questions of national identity and geopolitical alignment following the January 2022 protests and the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, offering insights into the country’s evolving politics and regional role.
The event will feature the authors and Dr. Andrey Semenov, Assistant Professor at SSH, NU. A copy of the book will be donated to the NU Library.
