The School of Engineering and Digital Science is pleased to announce the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) Conference on Sustainable Energy Materials and Smart Technologies, set to take place on August 21–23, 2025 at Nazarbayev University (NU). This conference will convene top researchers, industry leaders, and government representatives from Belt and Road Initiative partner countries to address global energy challenges, showcase groundbreaking innovations, and advance cross-border collaboration in science and technology.
Participants will engage in discussions and knowledge-sharing across cutting-edge fields such as:
Sustainable renewable energy, photovoltaics and energy storage technologies
Triboelectric nanogenerators and smart materials
Robotics and intelligent systems
The event will feature esteemed academic partners including Beihang University, Soochow University, Shenzhen Technology University, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and universities across Kazakhstan.
