About the event
The Astana O-Fest 2025 is organized by the Federation of Orienteering of the Republic of Kazakhstan in collaboration with Nazarbayev University and the Student Government.
Orienteering is a dynamic sport where participants use a map and compass to find control points in the area. The goal is to visit all designated points and be the first to reach the finish line. Success depends on speed, strategic thinking, and accuracy.
We invite everyone - students, staff, faculty, and NU community members, including children aged 8 and above, to take part in the festival and try themselves in orienteering!
