About the event
As part of NU’s 15th anniversary, the university will host its first International Conference on Planetary Health and Environmentally Sustainable Healthcare. The event will bring global experts together to discuss how health systems can become more sustainable, climate-resilient, and eco-friendly.
The conference invites abstracts under three themes:
Climate-Resilient Health SystemsClimate change and health, system preparedness, emerging diseases, and climate justice.
Sustainable Healthcare Infrastructure & InnovationGreen hospitals, decarbonization, smart technologies, telehealth, and sustainability metrics.
Education, Leadership & GovernanceTraining for planetary health, climate-smart leadership, partnerships, and governance frameworks.
This conference highlights NU’s growing role in advancing sustainable healthcare and planetary well-being.
