About the event

Dear Staff and Faculty,

Probably, each of us at least once used the word «stress» to describe our condition. But it is important to understand that stress is not just an emotion, but a physiological reaction of the whole organism. At the first stage, stress causes unpleasant emotions, such as fear or anger. But up to a certain point, it can be useful, giving us additional strength to overcome difficulties.

However, if stress lasts too long, it goes into the stage of exhaustion, when it begins to harm our body: immunity decreases, problems with the gastrointestinal tract appear, and disturbances in cardiac activity may occur.

Each of us has the ability to manage our stress. To do this, it is important to learn:

1. Focus on the physical manifestations of stress, and not immerse yourself in the thoughts and stories that our mind plays out.

2. Develop the skill of control, which allows you to minimize the negative effects of stress.

3. Maintain internal balance and learn to quickly recover from stressful situations.

I invite you to a training where we will look at these and other effective stress management techniques that will help not only cope with its consequences, but also prevent them.

Take care of yourself and your health!
