About the event
The Department of Kazakh Language and Turkic Studies (SSH), in collaboration with the NU Library, invites the NU community to the presentation of Dr. Wulidanayi Jumabay’s new book Subordination in Kazakh as Spoken in China.
The book examines how Kazakh spoken in China forms subordinate clauses, how it compares to other Turkic languages, and how language contact with Chinese has influenced its grammar.
A copy of the book will be donated to the NU Library. Coffee and refreshments will be provided.
